Title: Temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist

Wage Range: $23.00 USD to $25.00 USD

Location: Onsite Chino, CA 

Hours/Days: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday-Friday

Job Type: Temporary 

Summary: 

As a key member of the Accounting Team this candidate will possess problem solving skills related to accounting functions and also support the team in cash applications, collections, data analysis, claim/billing disputes, and account reconciliations. The candidate in this position will be detail oriented and have leadership qualities to support the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts
  • A/R Aging Analysis
  • Customer accounts reconciliation
  • Outbound A/R collections with business customers
  • Handling chargebacks such as shortages, rebates, discounts, allowances, defectives
  • Develop metrics to track customer rebate/deductions.  Closely monitor, analyze and assess collection issues to determine the course of action for resolution.
  • Find opportunities to enhance, improve, and implement procedures to increase accuracy and efficiency, with a specific focus on system usage/capabilities and increasing automation.
  • Compile, analyze, and provide analytics for reporting financial information to management.
  • Assist with audits pertaining to Accounts Receivable

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable
  • Strong business communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, think strategically, problem solve and collaborate with team members.
  • Highly motivated, results focused and acts with a high sense of urgency.
  • Experience working in import/export business a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in business field required or equivalent experience
  • Proficient with MS Office, with advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics D365
  • Bilingual Chinese a plus, not mandatory.
